What can be Dopled?

Dopls are true-to-life miniatures of people and pets that capture those moments you want to remember most. We can scan up to 3 people in a single pose, and can scan pets with a person or own their own. You can find sizes and scales available on our Products & Pricing page.

How long does it take to get scanned?

Our 3 dimensional capture takes only a split second. Prior to each scan, we’ll take time to help you pick and practice the perfect pose, working around your schedule. Once complete, we’ll walk you through the capture and make sure you’re happy.

Do I need an appointment?

Typically, we advise to allot 20-30 minutes for up to 3 people and an additional 5-10 minutes for each additional person. Appointments are not necessary however are recommended particularly at busier times to ensure you don’t have to wait. Go to our Schedule page to make an appointment.

Can I make a Dopl of my pet?

Yes, all pets make wonderful Dopls. Our scans take only a split second, and while we may need an extra take or two to capture the perfect pose, pets have made up some of our absolute favorites. Feel free to make a miniature of your pet alone or get scanned together with them.

How much does it cost to make a Dopl?

Our prices are based on the size of the Dopls in your order. Accessories and other items such as platforms are additional. You can find more information here on our Products page.

How long does it take to receive your Dopl?

We aim to ship your orders within 3-4 weeks from the date of your scan. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on seasonal fluctuations and the complexity of your pose. If you have placed an order, you can track its progress and place reorders directly from your Dopl account.

Can I purchase a gift card?

Yes, you can. Gift cards make terrific gifts and can make it easier to organize a large group. Digital gift cards are available on our Shop page, or visit a store location to receive a physical gift card.

Can a Dopl be made from a picture I have?

Dopls are true-to-life miniatures, and providing one or more pictures would only allow for a representation of that person or pet. To deliver such a high level of realism, our Dopl-maker scanning booths capture a full 360° from head to toe within an instant under the perfect lighting conditions. When will you be opening a store near me?

Dopl is in the process of adding more locations around the USA, so please continue to check back and add your name to our mailing list to receive emails about updates on new store openings. Also, our mobile booth is making appearances at locations and events around the country so keep an eye out for one near you.

Do you offer 3D digital files or avatars?

Yes, we do. Our digital offering spans the range from high resolution digital data for the VFX and film industries to rigged avatars that can be imported into virtual environments. Visit our product page here to learn more, or email us at digital@dopl.com for B2B projects.

Can Dopl’s scanners be setup at our event?

Dopl can take our scanners on location to capture special moments and events where they happen. The booth can be setup in a few short hours, and we’ll provide the necessary staff to provide your guests with the best possible experience. Does Dopl do custom projects?

Yes, our business development team works with corporate partners, brands and agencies to offer a wide-range of customization options to meet your needs. These include large format prints, scanning of objects and sculptures, show stopping store displays, miniatures for stop motion and more.
